2.0m Nano light stand, just 50cm folded : strobist / studio use

The Nano 2 is a very handy light stand. It can be raised to a handy 2m (6.5 foot) high yet folds to a tiny 50cm length making it very portable and great for strobist use.

The stands are all metal, even the knobs and clamps are solid aluminium. This gives the Nano 2 stand a very useful 5kg capacity making it suitable for studio use as well. This is the highest load capacity Nano stand available.

At 2.0m the footprint is quite compact, for outdoor use it is recommended to spread the legs a little more - as shown the stand is then 1.9m high.

Sandbagging is always recommended for outdoor use to stop a gust of wind from knocking the stand over and damaging expensive flash equipment.

You can also have the legs running horizontally for ultra wide stability, the stand will still reach 1.55m high in this mode.

The bottom two images show the stand fitted with accessories not included in the price : a flash bracket, speedlight & umbrella are all you need for portable studio style lighting.
